In a significant expansion of their community outreach efforts, JCI Surigao Nickel has extended their successful MaluPet QR initiative to the municipality of San Francisco in Surigao del Norte. This initiative, aimed at enhancing pet welfare and safety, marks a new chapter in their commitment to making a positive impact across the region.
The partnership was formalized with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between JCI Surigao Nickel and the municipality of San Francisco. This MoU underscores their joint efforts to advance pet care practices through innovative solutions like personalized QR tags for pets, facilitated by the Provincial Research, Innovation, and Science Museum (PRISM) with support from the Department of Science and Technology - Surigao del Norte.
Under the leadership of Provincial Director Mariel P. Makinano and Governor Lyndon Barbers, the Provincial Government of Surigao Del Norte has played a pivotal role in providing essential trainings and support, empowering JCI Surigao Nickel to make a tangible difference in the lives of local pet owners.
JCI Surigao Nickel extends its gratitude to all partners and stakeholders involved for their unwavering dedication to this important cause. Together, they look forward to continuing their mission of community empowerment and innovation for a safer, healthier environment for pets and their owners alike.
