“Creating the Future: Arduino and Robotics Training for Innovators Year 3” was an innovative and engaging educational program designed to inspire the next generation of innovators. The program was specifically tailored for children between the ages of 6 and 12 and aimed to teach them the basics of coding, robotics, and electronics using Arduino boards, 3D designing and printing, and project development concepts. There were 50 beneficiaries from 10 central schools in Surigao City.
The program was perfect for children interested in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) and wanting to explore the world of robotics and electronics. The program was held for 5 days from July 7-11, 2025 for 8 hours each session at the Provincial Research, Innovation, and Science Museum (PRISM) of DOST Surigao del Norte, to inculcate to these learners that they can explore technologies towards a more resilient Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (DRRM) community.
