Due to the nonstop heavy rains that Surigao del Norte has experienced, many areas have been affected by flooding. We, the JCI Surigao Nickel, led by our 2025 LO President Carlson Martinez, are actively monitoring the situation through the City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (CDRRMO) and are ready to extend help in any way we can during these emergencies.
In response, we have assisted affected families in Purok Kalipayan B and Purok Kalipayan C, who have been evacuated to Clementino V. Diez Memorial Central Elementary School Elementary School in Barangay Washington.
Our commitment to serving the community remains strong, especially in times of need. Let’s stand together and support those affected.
