JCI Surigao Nickel, represented by our 2024 LO President John Lester Fetalvero, recently had the pleasure of meeting with Mayor Richelle Romarate of the Municipality of Tubod to discuss an exciting future partnership. The meeting focused on our MaluPET QR initiative, a project designed to enhance pet safety and well-being through personalized QR tags.
The MaluPET QR initiative aims to provide pet owners with a simple yet effective way to ensure the safety of their pets. Each QR tag contains vital information that can be easily accessed by scanning the code, offering a quick way to identify and return lost pets to their owners.
During the meeting, we discussed the potential benefits this collaboration could bring to the Tubod community. Mayor Romarate expressed enthusiasm about the initiative and its alignment with the municipality’s goals for community safety and animal welfare. This partnership is expected to bolster efforts to promote responsible pet ownership and improve the overall safety of pets in Tubod.
