The Temiong Awards stand as the pinnacle of recognition within JCI Philippines, signifying the highest honor bestowed upon local organizations and their members. In JCI, these awards represent the formal embodiment of acknowledgment and celebration of exceptional achievements. Instituted by JCI Philippines, the Temiong Awards operate through the meticulous guidance of the JCI Philippines National Awards Committee (NAC). This committee stands as a testament to the organizationโs commitment to recognizing outstanding accomplishments in alignment with the core objectives of JCI. Through a rigorous and transparent process, the NAC identifies and honors local organizations and their members who have displayed remarkable dedication and innovation.
The program, "Creating the Future: Arduino and Robotics Training for Innovators," served as a transformative educational experience designed to inspire the next generation of innovators. It introduced students aged 6 to 12 to the captivating domains of coding, robotics and programming using Arduino boards and various tools.
This initiative provided a nurturing environment for budding minds interested in STEM fields, offering them a platform to delve into the wonders of science, technology, and innovation. Through their participation, these children acquired essential skills such as problem-solving, critical thinking, and teamwork. Over the course of six (6) Sundays, sixty (60) empowered pupils emerged as graduates of this program, equipped with newfound knowledge and enthusiasm. These young learners are now better prepared for future educational and career opportunities in the field of science and technology, paving the way for a new era of technological advancement in the region.
